Your GDPR Rights

Applies to EEA and United Kingdom residents

Effective date: 1 September 2026  ·  Data controller: TimmiStudio di VD (PortraitDesk), Italy

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) gives you a number of rights over your personal data held by PortraitDesk. This page explains each right and how to exercise it.

To make a request, email info@portraitdesk.com. We will respond within 30 days. For complex requests we may extend this by up to two further months, in which case we will inform you within the first 30 days.

Your Rights

Right of Access (Art. 15 GDPR)

You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, free of charge, along with information about how we use it, who we share it with, and how long we retain it.

Right to Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)

You have the right to ask us to correct personal data that is inaccurate or incomplete. You can update most account information directly from your account settings.

Right to Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data. This right is not absolute — we may be required to retain certain information (for example, financial records under Italian fiscal law). Where we cannot delete all data, we will explain what we can and cannot remove and why.

Right to Restriction (Art. 18 GDPR)

You have the right to ask us to pause processing of your data in specific circumstances — for example, while we verify the accuracy of data you have disputed, or while we assess an objection you have raised.

Right to Data Portability (Art. 20 GDPR)

You have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format (such as JSON or CSV), and to transmit it to another controller where technically feasible.

Right to Object (Art. 21 GDPR)

You have the right to object to processing of your personal data based on our legitimate interests. We will stop processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights, and freedoms.

Right to Withdraw Consent

Where processing is based on your consent (for example, analytics cookies), you may withdraw consent at any time by clicking Cookie Settings in the footer. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before withdrawal.

How to Exercise Your Rights

Email info@portraitdesk.com with your name, the right you wish to exercise, and enough information to identify your account. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request — we will ask for the minimum information necessary to do so.

Right to Lodge a Complaint

If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority in your country of residence:
